What is BIOJET about?
The BIOJET project focuses on advancing 3D bioprinted implants by developing inkjet-compatible bioink formulations for cartilage repair applications.
By creating optimized hydrogel-based bioinks, the project enables the highly precise deposition of biological factors onto bioprinted scaffolds. This approach directly supports the development of patient-specific knee implants with improved biological functionality and addresses a key materials gap in bio-advanced manufacturing. 

What comes next for the winners?
The selected teams will gain access to our three specialized Pilot Lines, receive technical and scientific support, and work with us on process development, validation, and technology upscaling. This journey is accompanied by joint workshops, project reviews, key milestones, and a strong European innovation network in Bio-Advanced Manufacturing.
