 The “Drug Delivery and Advanced Manufacturing” group is led by Eva Roblegg and is part of the Department of Pharmaceutical Technology and Biopharmacy at the Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of Graz. The interdisciplinary team specializes in the development of nano- and micro drug delivery systems produced by advanced manufacturing technologies and the development of cell- and tissue-based in vitro and ex vivo models for biological testing. 

As part of the Inkjet-bioAM project, the group will develop innovative biopharmaceutical dermal characterization tools to comprehensively investigate the performance of inkjet-printed, drug-loaded temporary tattoos. In addition to assessing drug release under physiological conditions, drug penetration and distribution in the skin will be studied using advanced cell culture and tissue models.
